Every month, The Rock Catholic Radio airs special prayers throughout the day specifically relevant to that month. This month, we have a prayer for the Poor Souls in purgatory and a prayer of thanksgiving. You can find both below.
Listen for these while you’re tuned in to The Rock and pray along with us!
Prayer for the Poor Souls in Purgatory by St. Gertrude
Eternal Father, I offer you the most Precious Blood of Your Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the Holy Souls in Purgatory, for all sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal Church, those in my own home, and within my family.
Amen
Prayer of Thanksgiving
Father in Heaven, Creator of all and source of all goodness and love, please look kindly upon us and receive our heartfelt gratitude in this time of giving thanks.
Thank You for all the graces and blessings You have bestowed upon us, spiritual and temporal: our faith and religious heritage, our food and shelter, our health, the love we have for one another, and our family and friends.
Dear Father, in Your infinite generosity, please grant us continued graces and blessings throughout the coming year.
This we ask in the Name of Jesus, Your Son, and our Brother.
Amen
