Listeners, friends, and supporters of The Rock Catholic Radio,
We are so grateful to everyone who tuned in and donated to The Rock Catholic Radio’s Fall Spirit Drive,October 21st through the 23rd. Once again, our generous listeners and supporters delivered to allow us to come within one percentage point of our overall goal!
Special thanks to our matching gift and challenge donors, as well as those who made their gifts before the drive, for helping build momentum and inspiring others to give.
Our dynamic co-hosts Fr. Doug Brown and Debbie Georgianni – along with a variety of special guest hosts, priests, authors, and EWTN personalities – were as enlightening and entertaining as ever as they focused on our theme of The Holy Spirit – The Hidden Person of the Blessed Trinity. We learned interesting bits of wisdom about the Third Person of the Trinity from our guests, including:
- Bishop Michael Woost, who challenged listeners to respond to the prompts of the Holy Spirit like the saints
- Mike Aquilina, who shared that the Holy Spirit speaks God’s will to us and encouraged us to avoid the noise of the world so we can hear the Spirit
- Sr. Mary Ann Fatula, who so beautifully reminded us that the Holy Spirit is the secret to joy and counseled us to offer every day to the Holy Spirit
- Cy Kellett, who explained that the Holy Spirit has a plan for the laity to provide Catholic radio those who need it most
The Rock Catholic Radio’s twice-a-year Spirit Drives help provide vital funding to cover our day-to-day operating costs, as well as necessary, often unexpected, expenses like equipment repairs and replacements. As we like to say…Running an AM radio station is expensive, but the rewards are priceless!
Thank you to everyone who helped make this Fall Spirit Drive a success. We appreciate your partnering with us in our mission to bring more souls to Christ through this listener-supported apostolate. We pray the Holy Spirit guides, enlightens and protects you always!
