  • On-Air Prayers for July 2026

    On-Air Prayers for July 2026

Every month, The Rock Catholic Radio airs special prayers throughout the day specifically relevant to that month. This month, we have a prayer for our country and a vacation prayer. You can find both below.

Listen for these while you’re tuned in to The Rock and pray along with us!

Mother Angelica Prayer for the United States

Lord God, I ask in all humility that you bless this country as unworthy as we are. Protect it from every evil. Protect it from the enemy.

Protect it, Lord, that it may accomplish thy will and keep thy commandments. I ask, Lord, with a pleading heart, to look down upon us in our unworthiness. Give this country a renewal of devotion to you, to your law, to your commandments, Lord.

Let us be once more a country under you, Lord. May we once more say, in God we trust. Guide us and protect this country from every evil and every harm.

    Amen.

    Prayer for Vacations

Heavenly Father, when your work of creation was completed you rested.  Lord during our vacations from the cares and burdens of everyday life, please renew us physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Help us to slow down and take delight in your magnificent creation and in all those who we will share this time with.  Help us to embrace this period of leisure and regain strength to continue our journey through life.  By leaving our work behind for these days, may we focus our gaze on you and reflect on what is important in life.

Remind us to pray each day since we are taking this vacation with you, not away from you.  May you keep us safe in our travels and protect us from all harm.  May we be revitalized and refreshed so that we may return to carry out our daily responsibilities with joy and new found enthusiasm.

    Amen

  • On-Air Prayers for June 2026

    On-Air Prayers for June 2026

Every month, The Rock Catholic Radio airs special prayers throughout the day specifically relevant to that month. This month, we have a prayer to the Sacred Hear of Jesus and a Fathers’ Day prayer. You can find both below.

Listen for these while you’re tuned in to The Rock and pray along with us!

Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus by Saint John Henry Cardinal Newman

Most Sacred, most loving Heart of Jesus, You are concealed in the Holy Eucharist, and You beat for us still.

Now, as then, You say: “With desire I have desired.”

I worship You with all my best love and awe,

With fervent affection, with my most subdued, most resolved will.

For a while You take up Your abode within me.

O make my heart beat with Your Heart!

Purify it of all that is earthly, all that is proud and sensual, of all perversity, of all disorder.

    So fill it with You, that neither the events of the day, nor the circumstances of the time, may have the power to ruffle it;

But that in Your love and Your fear, it may have peace.

    Amen.

    A Prayer for Fathers

God our Father, you govern and protect your people and shepherd them with a father’s love. You place a father in a family as a sign of Your love, care, and constant protection. May all fathers, biological, spiritual, and adoptive, be faithful to the example shown in the scriptures. Steadfast in love, forgiving transgressions, sustaining in times of trial, caring for those in need.

Give Your wisdom to fathers that they may encourage and guide their children. Keep them healthy so they may support a family. Guide every father with a spirit of Your love that they may grow in holiness and draw their family ever closer to you.

Bless every family that has lost a father, uphold and sustain them in your love.

    Amen.

  • 2026 Spring Spirit Drive Executive Director Thank You Letter

2026 Spring Spirit Drive Executive Director Thank You Letter

    Dear Friends of The Rock,

To all of you who listened, prayed, or donated, thank you for your support of The Rock Catholic Radio’s 2026 Spring Spirit Drive. We are elated to report that, through the generosity of our donors who gave gifts of all sizes, ranging from $5.00 to $5,000, we reached our goal! That’s important because our twice-a-year Spirit Drives provide vital funding for The Rock to cover our regular operating costs as well as necessary – sometimes unexpected – expenses. In fact, our AM 930 transmitter was struck by lightning on the first day of the drive, so that’s a great example of an unplanned, and very costly, expense!

We hope you enjoyed our always-dynamic hosts, Fr. Doug Brown and Debbie Georgianni, along with the dozens of inspiring guests including EWTN personalities, local priests and deacons and noted authors, who enlightened and entertained us all as they focused on the theme of Angels All Around Us. We were blessed to have learned so much about the angels, our divine messengers, during the Spirit Drive. Fr. Chris Alar reminded us that God gave us our Guardian Angels as a gift to guide our hands and feet in the right direction. And, Fr. Mike Driscoll shared the wisdom of Thomas Aquinas when he reminded us that angels constantly behold our Heavenly Father and carry Heaven to us.

The three-day drive included chances to win raffle prizes donated by our business members, for which we (and the winners!) are very grateful. The grand prize, donated by a board member, was a beautiful olive wood St. Michael the Archangel statue, crafted in the Holy Land. All donors and callers were eligible to win that. In addition, those who pledged $1,000 or more (or $100+ monthly) were entered into a drawing to win an incredible 12-day pilgrimage to Italy, courtesy of Padre Pio Pilgrimages. Congratulations to John M. and Heidi K., respectively, who were the winners of the two aforementioned raffles.

Please know we appreciate every person who supported the Spring Spirit Drive in any way, with your time, prayers, and generosity, or simply by tuning in. We pray for you daily, and we hope we can count on your continued prayers for this listener-supported apostolate.

St. Peter the Rock, pray for us! Mary, Queen of the Angels, pray for us!

    With humble gratitude,

    Mary Ann Meitin

    Executive Director

  • Holy Week & Easter Special Programming

Holy Week & Easter Special Programming

We’ve received the official schedule from EWTN Radio for Holy Week that covers Holy Thursday through Easter, and some programming beyond. You can see each page below, and we’ve posted a downloadable PDF in case you would like to print it.

Some items are marked as being on TV as well, and the “Delete” column just shows what would normally play on EWTN radio if not for the special program. The Rock Catholic Radio’s programming doesn’t follow EWTN’s schedule exactly, so that column may not be perfectly accurate.

“Say Yes to Life” will not be aired that week, but “God Calling” will play at the normal time on Easter Sunday.

Please keep in mind, though, that this schedule may change, so please bookmark this page and check regularly for updates as we get closer to Easter.
