The FEST

The FEST, Northeast Ohio’s largest outdoor Christian music and family festival that draws
thousands of visitors will take place on Saturday, August 15 at Forefront Field, home of the
Lake Erie Crushers baseball team. This year’s theme, “Blessed” represents the blessings that
bring people together as the Family of God, and for the first time in its history, at an exciting
new location in Avon, OH.

The FEST is an inspiring day of faith, family and fun, and is now in its 26th year. Fr. Bob Stec,
pastor of St. Ambrose Parish in Brunswick and founder of the Fest, said Forefront Field offers
all the infrastructure required for an event of this size. “They have plenty of free parking,
electricity, lighting, bathrooms, accessibility and more, along with increased security due to
clear points of entry, making the day safer and more comfortable for all.”

Gates open at 10 a.m., with activities beginning at noon. The FEST runs through 10 p.m., and
features a Mass at 8 p.m. led by Bishop Edward Malesic, followed by fireworks from
American Fireworks. Nationally renowned Christian artists performing on the main stage
include Steve Angrisano, Riley Clemmons, Matt Maher, and Cain.

Due to limited seating capacity at Forefront Field, tickets are being sold for $10 each, with
children two-years-old and younger admitted for free. Fr. Bob said this covers a fraction of the
cost to produce the event, and ensures that all who have tickets have a place at The FEST. Fr.
Bob wants to make sure everyone is welcome and says scholarships for tickets are available;
