Beatification of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen Pilgrimage

September 23 – September 26

Join St. Hilary Parish on Pilgrimage to this once-in-a-lifetime sacred event: the Beatification of Archbp. Fulton J. Sheen in St. Louis. We depart from the church parking lot in Fairlawn, Wed, Sept 23, 7:30 and stop on our way to the National Shrine of St. Guerin. The next morning, we venture to the Dome At America’s Center in St. Louis for the Beatification Mass, Confession, Adoration and veneration of Archbp. Sheen’s relic. The next morning, we will visit the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows with free time to explore downtown St. Louis. Saturday, Sept 26, we depart for home! Wed, Sept 23

  • Depart from St. Hilary parking lot, 2750 W Market St, Fairlawn OH 44333 (7:30am)

  •  Lunch Provided on Bus

  • Tour St. Mary of the Woods, IN, at Shrine of St. Mother Theodore Guerin who lived a fascinating life of suffering and triumph for the sick and the poor, with a special love for children

  • Dinner in Terra Haute, IN

  • Depart for newly renovated Best Western St. Louis Airport North Hotel & Suites and arrive mid evening in time to check in for overnight

Thurs, Sept 24 

  • Early Breakfast at Hotel

  • Depart for The Dome at America’s Center, downtown St. Louis

  • Free time to attend Expo, Adoration and Confession and/or Pre-Mass Show

  • Attend Beatification Mass

  • Veneration of Relic

  • Dinner at Dome or nearby venue before returning to the hotel

 

Fri, Sept 25

  • Early Breakfast at hotel

  • For those who wish to explore St. Louis for the day, they will be taken by bus to downtown; others to National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows for the morning for prayer, quiet reflection and shopping, then to downtown for free time downtown and dinner

  • Early evening board bus to the hotel

Sat, Sept 26

  • Early Breakfast at hotel

  • Board bus to return home (8:00)

  • Stop for Lunch

  • Return to St. Hilary early evening
