Paul Orlousky is the host of God Calling and a well known face to Cleveland TV viewers, a member of the Cleveland Press Club Hall of Fame.
He headed up investigative units at the stations where he worked and wasn’t afraid to ask tough questions.
He retired in 2000 after 40 years on the air. After writing a book about his experiences he agreed to take on a new challenge. God Calling.
“I was a bit hesitant when the station called but after Dick Russ described the concept I was sold. It was a great decision. So far we’ve done over 300 shows.”
The name of the program really describes what it is all about. God Calling. What is God calling you to do with your life and all the talents you have been blessed with.
“We don’t just interview Priests and Nuns, it’s also about everyday people whether they are married or single and how they are using their path in life to give glory to God.”
Orlousky says he is blessed to have been given this opportunity and gets a lot of energy from hearing the guests stories. Adding “I hope we can do another 300 shows.

Where We Worship shares the history, charisms and ministries of our local Catholic parishes and religious institutions. The show airs the 3rd Sunday of each month at 11 AM, and is re-broadcast the following Saturday at 4:30 PM.
From 2019 until 2026, much-beloved Cleveland broadcasting legend Bob Tayek hosted organized the show. He recorded seventy-seven episodes, interviewing passers and folks serving in the apostolates from all around the Diocese of Cleveland. Now, the torch has been passed to Joe Cronauer.
Joe Cronauer has been seen and heard up and down the Cleveland television and radio dial for nearly 40 years. He’s won numerous awards and accolades including his induction into the Cleveland Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame.
As one half of “The Brian and Joe Radio Show, Joe entertained early morning listeners for over 23 years, on 97.5 WONE in Akron, and in Cleveland: on 107.9 The END, 100.7 WMMS and MIX 106.5. For nearly 10 years “The Joe Show” was heard in Northeast Ohio on inspirational radio, 95.5 The Fish.
For over 15 years, Joe appeared on WKYC Channel 3. He hosted the show “Good Company”, reported on the morning news, hosted daylong live telethons and has been seen and heard on countless segments and commercials. In addition to his media involvement, Joe is currently the Manager of Communication for Catholic Diocese of Cleveland and also works with Ohio Turnpike Commission in marketing and communications.
Joe is blessed to be a husband of 35 years to Gina and the father of four sons, balancing a rewarding career with a wonderful family life!
