SUMMARY:The FEST
DESCRIPTION:The FEST\, Northeast Ohio’s largest outdoor Christian music and family festival that draws\nthousands of visitors will take place on Saturday\, August 15 at Forefront Field\, home of the\nLake Erie Crushers baseball team. This year’s theme\, “Blessed” represents the blessings that\nbring people together as the Family of God\, and for the first time in its history\, at an exciting\nnew location in Avon\, OH. \nThe FEST is an inspiring day of faith\, family and fun\, and is now in its 26th year. Fr. Bob Stec\,\npastor of St. Ambrose Parish in Brunswick and founder of the Fest\, said Forefront Field offers\nall the infrastructure required for an event of this size. “They have plenty of free parking\,\nelectricity\, lighting\, bathrooms\, accessibility and more\, along with increased security due to\nclear points of entry\, making the day safer and more comfortable for all.” \nGates open at 10 a.m.\, with activities beginning at noon. The FEST runs through 10 p.m.\, and\nfeatures a Mass at 8 p.m. led by Bishop Edward Malesic\, followed by fireworks from\nAmerican Fireworks. Nationally renowned Christian artists performing on the main stage\ninclude Steve Angrisano\, Riley Clemmons\, Matt Maher\, and Cain. \nDue to limited seating capacity at Forefront Field\, tickets are being sold for $10 each\, with\nchildren two-years-old and younger admitted for free. Fr. Bob said this covers a fraction of the\ncost to produce the event\, and ensures that all who have tickets have a place at The FEST.
